High-Precision Crossed Roller Bearing Custom Manufacturing: Eliminating Edge Stress for Enhanced Sle
Against the backdrop of increasingly stringent requirements for rotational accuracy in modern industry, crossed roller bearings have become core components in robot joints and turntables due to their excellent radial and axial load capacity. For high-load applications, our machining process focuses on crown optimization of the V-shaped raceway. Through plunge grinding or precision hard turning, we form linear, arc, or logarithmic crowned profiles on the raceway surface. This technique effectively eliminates edge effects at the contact between rollers and raceways, avoiding stress concentration. We employ single-clamping positioning to complete multiple finished surfaces, ensuring the geometric tolerances between the inner V-raceway and the outer cylindrical surface. Compared to conventional grinding, the crowned raceway design significantly reduces operational friction loss and temperature rise while improving skew resistance. Whether for construction machinery or precision turntables, our crossed roller bearings deliver lasting stability and ultra-high slewing accuracy.
